How’s your game knowledge? Although I’m fairly familiar with most games released in the last 20 years, I’m not quite as knowledgeable when it comes to new games like Minecraft. While MinecraftSkins.co is literally the largest Minecraft Skins database on the net, they’ve decided to get me to review a fun game called Minecraft. And they will give us some useful hints on how to deal with the game.
Minecraft is a sandbox-building independent video game written in Java originally by Swedish creator Markus “Notch” Persson and now by his company, Mojang. Minecraft is focused on creativity and building, allowing you to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D world. I think the new game is the hit of the year. Well… I found I can not introduce it in one or two words. The game made a bad impression on me but it hold a special attraction for me when I played the game for some time. In the survival mode, you have a health bar which is depleted by attacks from monsters, falls, or environmental damage, such as drowning or falling into lava. You also have a hunger bar, which must be periodically refilled by eating various food in-games. Machinima taught you how to live through out the first day.
Creepers will chase after any player they see within a 16 block radius. Creepers will climb steps, navigate mazes, and traverse other complex obstacles in order to get as close as possible to you. They will cease pursuit if you move more than 16 blocks away. A Creeper will also stalk you, making it very hard to escape when you are busy doing something else.
The hoe is used to turn dirt and grass blocks into farmland for producing wheat, melons or pumpkins. To till, right-click on a grass or dirt block while holding a hoe.
You also can create a Minecraft Roller Coaster. It’s really interesting. I guess you will hold the same view.
Within the Java-based game a skin refers to the texture that is placed onto a player model or mob. The skin is divided into areas that act as the surface area of the character. A skin will only allow solid color; transparency is not allowed on the skin file except on the second head area, which is transparent by default. The second head layer can be used to give the character glasses, hats, or other accessories. MinecraftSkins.co is the official Skindex.
